About the Site Title:

According to Wikipedia, a homeland is the concept of the territory to which one belongs; usually, the country in which a particular nationality was born. When used as a proper noun, the word (and its cognates in other languages; e.g., Heimatland in German) has ethnic nationalist connotations. As a common noun, it simply connotes the country of one's origin.

Unfortunately, that definition of Homeland was not the definition I had in mind at the time. Other Homelands include the video game homeland http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homeland_%28video_game%29)  and the Homeland book by R.A. Salvatore. The book was the title I had in mind while naming this page.

After this line there is most likely a bunch of meaningless ranting:

One may conclude many things from the picture above. For example, one may assume from the picture above the person to the far left is quite displaced from the rest of the group. This is not true. He was most likely checking out the other ladies in the lake nearby, which, as a result made him stand sideways and stray away from the picture. One may argue that other things may have adverted his gaze. They may say an interesting object such as the following (but would not be limited to): money raining from the sky, a bear driving a car, or a flying pig, would also advert his gaze. Another may also argue that there is no conclusive evidence that the picture might not have actually been taken at a park, but more perhaps a studio that has a knack for CGI imaging, which is commonly used in sci-fi nowadays. Such as SG-1. The reality of this all is that the picture was taken at a park shortly after the group above had just barbecued and missed out on having a wonderful watermelon due to the fast that it would rain soon.

"End of meaningless ranting"

Hi, this is my site. I'm Jon Wu.
About Myself:

I was born in Cambridge. Grew up there, and in my early years cooked brownies many times. The picture above is signifigant in the sense that I had never really gone out to a park before to barbeque. I enjoy lots of techinical things and enjoy eating watermelon during hot summer nights. ...
